15 Nov Kids are Kids Therapy Sensory Xploration Hub
The Xploration Hub at Kids are Kids Therapy Centre continues to an incredible resource that is being utilised every day by their team of therapists to provide quality therapy services to children with disabilities or developmental needs.
Kids Are Kids! therapists on average see 1000 clients per year providing 24,000 hours of therapy services. Around 80% of their current clients that come to the centre have used and will continue to use the sensory room on a regular basis. Therapists complete full sessions with individual clients booking regular appointments on a weekly or fortnightly basis as well as using the facility to break up sessions or as a reward.
Kids Are Kids! also provide group programs which are regularly held in the Xploration Hub and parents can also book the room for private use by appointment. All disciplines including Speech Pathologists, Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists and Clinical Psychologists use the facility.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank the following companies who have made donations to the Think Fragile X Foundation allowing us to purchase some amazing pieces of equipment which are thoroughly enjoyed by all.

Thanks to an extremely generous donation made by Liberty International, we were able to purchase an amazing interactive projection system – ‘The Magic Carpet’. It is highly engaging and stimulates the senses of all kids no matter their age.
The Mobile Magic Carpet creates a unique environment where entertainment, engagement, activity and learning fuse into one – creating an amazing, engaging experience. Therapists love how quickly the children become and engaged.
