07 May Salute to Summer
What an amazing night it was, the perfect send off to Summer! From the moment you walked into the Quarry Amphitheatre and saw the stage set in such a beautiful setting, you just knew it was going to be a magical night.
The perfect opening act to start the night was the incredible and talented duo – The Wildflowers featuring Sherri Murphy and Kat Kinley. They warmed up the crowd with their beautiful voices and relaxed vibe.
The Howie Morgan Band with special guest Chris Murphy then entertained the crowd with two sets jam packed of feel good summer hits, including Summer of 69, Slice of Heaven and of course Horses which you couldn’t help but sing along and dance to. Howie and Chris brought so much fun and energy to the stage, it is hard to believe they haven’t played together for over 10 years!
A huge thank you to Soulstice Events – Amy and Howie Morgan, for selecting Think Fragile X as their nominated charity this year, we are so incredibly appreciative of your endless love and support for our family and the work we do. Over $4,300 was raised from the night which will go towards the 2017 Gala Dinner.
